Collection is arranged in three major divisions entitled: Lubbock materials; Materials collected; and Materials collected: Cities and towns. Within these divisions, the records are grouped by subjects. Printed material includes newsletters, guides, newsclippings, and brochures. Some unique materials like reports and correspondence are interfiled within subject categories. Along with the histories of the various groups, the collection contains documentation on issues such as traffic safety, home rule, water, poll taxes and the Lubbock Community Planning Council.
